During the week ended at noon today 42 cases of infectious and other notifiable diseases wore reported as follows in the Canterbury-Westland health district:— Westland—Diphtheria 2. Duller—Diphtheria 1. North Canterbury—Scarlet fever 2, diphtheria 3, tuberculosis 11, pneumonia 4, nneumonic influenza 2, hydatids 1, .varicella 11. Ashburton: Diphtheria 1. Soutli Canterbury—Scarlet fever 1, tuberculosis 1, pneumonia 2.
