3lr R. A. Chaffey, of Culverden. is spending a few days in Christchurch. A cable message from London re ports the death of Mr William Howard Smith, formerly of 3lelbourne. Dr R. A. Cameron has been a.ppoint.ed honorary consulting radiologist to the Wellington Hospital.
