TROUBLE BREWINC IN INDIA.

Rebels ambushed a British patrol, but wore defeated. Seven were killed and two wounded. There have been several skirmishes with the rebels, who are drilling and going through musketry practice in an open ground at the palace at Nilambur, The leader is compelling tho working classes to dig trenches, erect barricades, reap crops and destroy roads and bridges. Tho public of Calicut is demading more rigorous measures against the rebels.
