STREET COLLISION.

CYCLIST INJURED. A collision took place at the intersection of Armagh Street and Oxford Terrace at about half-past eleven o’clock to-day between a motor-car and a cyclist, resulting in the cyclist receiving injuries necessitating his admission to the Hospital. The motorcar, which was being driren by Mr Donald Scott, a traveller for the firm of Cooper and Pryce, was proceeding in the direction of Gloucester Street, and Mr James Abraham, a middle-aged man, was riding a bicycle in a westerly direction along Armagh Street. ’The cyclist was unable to get across > in front of the approaching motor-car, which struck the back wheel *of his bicycle, throwing him heavily to the ground. Mr Abraham was ’rendered unconscious and was taken to the Hospital by one of the carriers on the Victoria Square stand. The cycle was badly damaged, and the front of tho motor-car was also damaged by the impact.

On inquiring at the Hos.pit.-v! this afternoon it was reported that Mr Abraham was suffering from coneusmon and was still unconscious. Ho particulars regarding him are known to the Hospital authorities.
