COAL AND TIMBER SUPPLIES. The Opua arrived in Lyttelton yesterday morning from Nydia Bay with a load of timber. She will leave for Wellington to-mor-T °The Karori and Orepuki were still barbound at Greymouth yesterday. The Kamona was timed to leave Wellington last night for Lyttelton with a part cargo of coal. She will load general cargo lor New Plymouth, and will sail on SaturTho Kauri is due here on Tuesday or Wednesday from Newcastle with a load of INTERCOLONIAL SERVICE. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Manuka arrived at Wellington yesterday morning after a fine weather voyage iiom Sydney. The Manuka left Sydney at half-past 11 o’clock last Saturday morning, and experienced light north-east winds, with smooth seas on the trip. Included in her csrgo for Wellington are transhipments ex Katoomba, Waldera, El K&utara, Omar, Manilla, Janus, Kanown, Aki Maru, Woodongu, Taiyuan, and Orsova. After discharge of her cargo the Manuka will lay up, and her run will be taken over by the Tahiti, sailing from Wellington for Sydney on September 19. The Wanaka arrived yesterday morning from Dunedin. She should sail for Wellington, via Sydney, on Saturday. PERSONAL. * • Captain A. W.
