KEDCLIFFS CLUB. Tho annual meeting of tho Kedclirfs Tennip Club \va.3 held in the Library, Rcdcliffs, on Monday evening. The annual report stated that the past Beacon ha/d been u most successful one in every resnect. The revenue for the year vaa .€47 14s, and the expenditure Gi. leaving a credit balance in hand of £OS 14s Gd. Seven matches had been played during the vear. four of which the club lad won. It had been decided to affiliate with the Canterbury Lawn Tennis AssociaTlie resignation cf the club’s late secretarv. Miss Sibbald, waft received. Miss Sibbald had been secretary of the club since its inception, and in recognition of her services on behalf of the club, she was unanimously elected a life member. Officers for the year were elected as follows:—President. Mr Angus Donaldson: vico-oresidents, Messrs A. W. Beaven and C Monck. Mesdarnes Lee and Ramwell; secretary', Mr D. Barr. treasurer, Mrs Shadbolt auditor. Mr D. 'Richardson; committee. Mesdam-es Donaldson. Williams. and M'Kay. Misses Pender and Prebble, Messrs Richardson and Prebble. Tlic opening day* was fixed for Saturday, September 24.
