(Pfr Prfss Association 1 A WELLINGTON, August 31. On August 24 a Press Association cable appeared under the heading of Melbourne, and mentioning, incidentally, that I>r Gilruth, who had been relieved from duty following the recent troubles in the Northern Territory, had entered a claim for compensation against the Federal Government. This information was copied from a Sydney paper, byt Dr Gilruth’s solicitors have written denying that he was relieved, and asking tor a correction of the report. The Press Association expresses its regret that the information as published was misleading.
