Tn connection with the discovery of a woman's arms in the Seine a mother has identified them by a scar as those of her daughter, Alexandrine Yvonne, aged 23. The police are searching for a man named Julieu, an habitue of the dance halls whom Alexandrine saw last. He allegedly exercised a magnetic influence over women. (A cable from London on August 24 stated : “ The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Express ” states that the police there are engaged in tho reconstruction and elucidation of a strange murder mystery. An angler fished out from the River Seine two beautifully shaped arms which had been hacked off from a hody at the shoulders. A day later another angler found two legs, and finally tho headless body of a young girl was found. The remains were taken to- the morgue for assembly. So tar there is no clue to the identity of the body or the murderer.**
