The Agricultural Institute estimates for 1921 state that the production of wheat in Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Finland, Alsace-Lorraine, Hungary, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, India Japan, Algeria, Tunis, Morocco, Canada and United States to lx? 203,610,000 quarters, equal to 9S per cent of last year’s yields. The “ lvra ” estimates show that wheat-growing countries hare an exportable surplus of 81,100,000 quarters. Europe’s probable requirements are 67,000.000 quarters, with a possible addition of 5.000,000 for Russia.
