SPANIARDS AND REBELS CLASH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received August 26, 11 a.m.) MADRID, August 25. A battle lasting twelve hours is reported to have taken place on tlie whole Melilla front between 12,000 Spaniards and over 5000 rebels, who fought desperately. Airmen bombed the spots where concentrated, inflicting heavy kisses. About 200 Spanish soldiers were killed.
