M.UST ADVANCE IN PRICE. According to tho latest advices from London, there has been a marked adanco in ail kinds of hides, and naturally there will bo shortly a big increase in footwear. According to the latest reports, tho Board of Trade realises that iu the near future footwear must advance considerably in price. When people consider that very soon there is likeiy to bo an extra tariff put on imported footwear, you can only come to tho conclusion that footwear must go up by leaps and bounds, and as the manufacturers point out that in the near future prices of leather goods will be affected.
