SKELETON FOUND.

(Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, August 18. Maoris discovered a. skeleton in the hush near the Mahaki railway station. Gisborne. Only a pair of well-worn boots remained on the body, the other Nothing having almost entirely perished. The skeleton affords no indication as to how death occurred, and the police are not aware of any person having been missing in that vicinity.
