The funeral of little Kathleen Archer, ilio victim of the unfortunate accident last Saturday night, took place yesterday morning. The ceremony w as sad and impressive. Her schoolmates, to the number of over one hundred, formed a guard of honour on the entrance of the coffin to the Sacred Heart Church, Addington. Requiem Mass wa.s celebrated by the Rev Father O’Cor nor. the school children singing suit able hymns. The procession to the Addington under the supervision of the local Sisters of the Mission, was beaded by the deceased’s schoolmates, her girl comrades wearing white dresses and black armlets, and being followed by a largo concourse of friends and sympathisers of her sorrowing parents. The services at the graveside ■were conducted by the Rev Father O’Connor, assisted by the Rev Fathers Finnerty and Hanrahan. The children sang a' farewell hymn.
