AUSTRALIA’S PART IN THE WAR. By Telegraph—Proaa Association—Copyrijfht Australian and N.Z. Cnblo Association. (Received August 17, 11.15 a.m.) PARIS, August 16 There is a movement on foot to erect a monument in front of Parliament House in Melbourne to express French admiration of tho Australians’ work in the war and to commemorate her soldiers who fell on French soil. It is proposed that the monument shall take tho form of a colossal marble globe surrounded by playing fountains.
