The resolution passed by the Conference recognised Indians’ rights to citizenship. We should pay a special tribute io Mr Hughes, Mr Massey and Mr Meighen for their rejtdy acceptance of India as a sister commonwealth to Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and for the Imperial outlook which marked their speech and actions.”
