There are some misgivings over th** prolonged deliberations by Mr do Va~ Sera’s Cabinet on Mr Lloyd George’s proposals. It was hoped that Dail Eirearm would be summoned this week to deal with the scheme, but now it appears that this is unlikely. The utmost secrecy prevails over events in Dublin. Undoubtedly the British proposals entailed some communication between Mr do Valera’s and the Ulster political forces before a basis for all Irish Federal Constitution could be drafted. Possibly the absence of such conversations is accountable for the delay, or pn the other band Mr de Valera finds a difficulty in composing the divergences between the Moderates and the Extremists within the Sinn Fein movement, especially in regard to dropping the Republicans’ aspirations and accepting allegiance to the Crown.
