On Saturday evening Airs W. Thorn gave a. dance at her homo in Papanui for Air Terry Alarshall. Dancing took place in tho drawing-room, while supper was served in the dining-room, both rooms being tastefully decorated. Airs Thorn received her guests wearing Flack not over silk. Among thoso present were Alesdames Black, Bowman and Thompson, Misses E. Taylor, Palmer, W. Taylor, Vera Black, Merva Somerset, Ida Thompson, Mercia Jackman, Miriam Somerset, Flint (2), and Eileen Jackman, .Messrs Terry Marshall, Arthur Dodd, P. Seyb, Leslie Grieves, Stan. Do ult on, Noel Bowman, Ben. Cooper, Stan. Prebble, R. Flint. El-lis, Thorn (2), Hector Robertson and C. Jackman.
