CHILDREN AND ANIMALS
* The love of animals seems to be born iu some children, in others, however, it Jins to be carefully instilled. These small folk may pull a dog’s tail or a cat’s fur, not from unkindness, hut merely out of curiosity, and unless they are taught the proper way to treat their pets they may have to learn through the bitter experience of a bite or a scratch. The small girl who is taught to he kind and gentle with her doll, will, as a matter of course, he the same with any animal with which she may come in contact.
