It is stated in Parliamentary circles that progress towards a definite Irish agreement is substantial. Mr do Valera is expected to visit London at the close of the conversations. An official Dublin message states that General Smuts will arrive tomorrow. Ho will be ;nei by prominent Irishmen, including Mr De Valera. General Smuts’s secretary has been in touch with Irish politicians for some days.
