MUSICAL CUSHION.
A NEW GAAIE TOR CHILDREN. To play this amusing game, the players sit in a circle and a cushion is passed rapidly round from one to the other, while someone plays a cheery tun© on th© piano, stopping suddenly as in musical chairs. The one who holds the cushion when the music ceases has to retire, and the game proceeds as before. As the players get thinned out, the passing of the cushion becomes verv exciting to watch, and when the contest is between the last two, the rapidity with which th© cushion flies from one to the other is a source of great merriment. The gr€ i at point on which to insist is that the cushion must be passed, not thrown r from one to the other. Each player who withdraws from tho game must take her chair with her.
