GRAND LODGE COMMUNICATION. f.PKK PfiFFtS AsROCTATrOV.3 AUCKLAND. May 11. Christchurch was chosen for tho next meeting of Grand Lodge. Brother Malcolm Niecol’s resign aHon from the office of Grand Secretary was received with regret. It was decided to grant him a pension of £4OO r>er annum for life. In the evening Brother Thonrns Ross was reinstalled as Grand Master. Other officers installed or invested were:—Deputy Grand Master. Brother •T. J. Ewing (Taranaki), Brother J. H. Porritt (Ruapehu); Grand Secretary, Brother George Barclay; Senior Grand Warden Brother J. Armstrong (Auckland) : Junior Grand Warden, Brother K- M’Kenzie (South Canterbury); Senior Grand Deacons, Brother J, E. Wade (West Coast) and Brother J. L. Ching (Nelson) ; Junior Grand Deacons, Brother A. H. Waring (Auckland) and Brother E. L. Ironmonger (Ruapehu) ; Grand Chaplains, the Rev A. V. Chandler (Dunedin) and the Rev A MacDonald (Auckland).
