The Transport Federation announces that the Gas Workers’ Union and other trade unions have informed it that members have been suspended for refusing to work coal which had been unloaded by volunteer labour. The Federation has no power to advise n onaffiliated unions, but its own members having given proof of loyalty to the miners, the Transport Workers’ Fedora tion is confident that other unions will refuse to handle foreign coalThe railway-men and transport workers will have a conference on the mattor on Friday.
