TO-DAY'S CASES. CHRISTCHURCH. Mr V. G. Day, S.M., presided at today’s pitting of tho Christchurch Magistrate’s Court. DRUNKENNESS. Three male first offenders pleaded ruilty to drunkenness and were each lined ss, with tho usual alternatives. A DAY OUT. John Graham, an Australian, was charged with (1) drunkenness, (2) carrying a revolver without a license tievond tho limits of his dwelling; (3) stealing it Papanui, on May 10. a kodak camera, revolver,. watch, gold chain, medal and sovereign case, of a total ■value of £23, the property of Ivan Alfred Mu3Bon; (4) stealing a razor, valued at los, the property of Percy Holloway. Ho pleaded guilty to the drunkenness. but said that he could not remember what happened to him yesterday. He came to town to find a mate to go potato digging, and had a few drinks. Inspector WomT*w armlied for n remand till Wednesday next, which was granted. DRUNKEN PASSENGERS. William Moore and his wife. Mar gnret. were charged with being drunk a-nd disorderly whilst in a raihvnv carriage. The man pi wider! guilty, but the woman denied the charge.
