Sales taxes are increased. The revenue for 1920-21 was 432 000.000 d- 1lars, and the expenditure 633.368,077 dollars. The estimated revenue for 1921-22 is 373,000,000 dollars, and the estimated expenditure 591,437,697 dollars. Revenue to be raised thus amounts to 435,360,971 dollars. The surplus over ordinary expenditure in 1920-21 was 09,400,000 dollars. New taxation provides 62,760,971 dollars. The national (debt amounts to 2.350,236,700 dollars.
