BOOKMAKERS FINED.

[Per Press Association.! DUNEDIN, May 4. At the Police Court this morning three young men were charged with carrying on the business of bookmakers. It was pointed out that two of them. Gustav Johnston and Kay Wynn, were unable to do ordinary work, being cripples. Each was fined £SO. In the ease of Stanley Simpson, who had merely run a double chart, a fine of £2O, with was imposed.
