INTERCOLONIAL. SERVICE. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka, from Sydney, arrived in Lyttelton this morning. The Manuka- left Sydney at 11 a.m. on Thursday, and had an exceptionally good trip. Fine weather, v.-ith light winds, smooth seas, and blue skies was experienced throughout tho voyage. Ponder, Marquis Williams, Nathan, Storey, Gotch, Fitzgerald Clifford, Weils, Count Van Lemburg, Stirum, Trounce, Soldarbo, Williams and boy, Osborne, Lendley, Davis and boy, Harrison, O'Brien, Alcock, Moore, Henderson, Perrott Eilersen, Lehmaner, Birch, Byrne, Jago, Billman, Gostelow, Williams, Johnson, Nathan (2), Storey, Cridgington, Warburton, liealy, Meadowcroft, Gotch, Braithwaite, O’Shea, Davies, Wallis, Taylor (2), M’Cullagh, Kirkley, O'Neill; snd seveny-threo steerage. Included her cargo axe 111 cases for j Lyttelton. She brought transhipments ex | Bakara, Orontes, Orvieto, Tango Maru, Kan- | sas, E-lmaren, Langton Hall, Taiyuan, Mon- j toro, Sektti Maru and Citta di Geonva. Tho i vessel will discharge 600 tons at- this port, I and take in a similar quantity for Sydney, j and will leave for Wellington on the arrival of the 5.20 p.m. train from Christchurch tomorrow. The Canopus will be dispatched for West- i port this afternoon with general cargo. Tho Ngatoro is expected to leave Grey- j mouth to-day with a load of coa! for Lyttel- j ton. The Kokiri and ELowhni are to load timber I at Greymouth this week for Wellington. The Kittawa was due at Wellington yesterday with coal from Greymouth, and is later to come on to Lyttelton to eompleo discharge of her cargo A load of coal is due in Wellington on Thursday by the Kauri from Newcastle.
