CUT BY SHATTERED WINDSCREEN. Tlie collision of a motor-car with a telegraph pole on the road from New Brighton last night resulted in Miss M’Clusky, of 272. Oxford Terrace, being badly cut about the face by the shattered wind-screen. The lights of the car had failed, and the driver, in endeavouring to adjust the trouble ran off the road, colliding with the post. Miss M’Clusky was admitted to the Publio Hospital. A girl named Gloria Lux ton, two years of age, died at Taihape Hospital 3 T esterday as the result of burns sustained through her clothing catching fire at Ohakune on Saturday morning. WOMAN’S BODY FOUND. [Per Press Association. ] TIMARU, May 3. The dead body of Margaret M’Millan Rennet, a married woman, thirty-five years of age, and a recent arrival from Home, was found in the surf this morning. Deceased had been depressed of late.
