MR W. J. WALTER (“Jock”) is one of the sporting enthusiasts responsible for the revival of cycle racing. The sport wanted a push along, and the Mairehau man got to work on the pedals. The big race last Saturday was a fine beginning, and there is another to follow to-morrow. Mr Walter is a member of a number of local bodies.
