SUBSTANTIAL INCREASES, [Prp. Press Association. 1 AUCKLAND, April 28. Tho P. and T. revenue for the Dominion for the year ended Alareh 31, 1921, totalled £2,448,673. It is stated by the Postmaster-General (the Hon J. G. Coates) that the revenue for the previous financial ygar amounted to £2,10(5,995, the increase for the year just ended being £341.678. The sale ol : stamps last year realised £1,195,329, compared with £1,013,025 the previous year, and the postal revenue* an increase of £196,569. In the Telegraph. Department the receipts amounted to £671,08-1, being £67,863 in excess of the previous year. Rentals from telephones reached £51)2,649. an increase of £83,832. Tlie figures under all headings of the Post Office Savings Bank and money order business show increases over those for 1919-1920. The Savings Bank deposits increased by over £6,000,1(00, but the withdrawals show a more than corresponding increase.
