ANZAC DAY.

THE SOLDIERS’ SERVICEArrangements for the united memorial service in King Edward Barracks on Anzac Day, April 25, have been made by the Christchurch Returfcied Soldiers Association. The service will commence at 2.30 p.m., and the ordei adopted is as follows: “Funeral March” (Chopin); hymn, “God of Our Fathers ” (Kipling), announced by Canon "NY. S. Bean, C.F. ; prayer, Rev YV. Ready, C.F. ; chairman’s address (His Worship the Mayor) ; selection, Christchurch Professional Musicians’ Orchestra (under Mr A. Bidgood) ; scripture reading, Rev W. Walker, C.F. ; address, His Lordship Bishop Julius ; hymn, “ The Nameless Graves ” (Oxenham), announced by the Rev .1. K- Archer, C.F.; “ Dea<3 March” in “Saul,” orchestra; reading .>f Portion of Burial Service, by Rev J. R. Youig, “Last Post,” sounded by buglers; aria, by Madame Gower-Burns ; prayer, Major Green, C.F. ; hymn, “<>, God of Bethel,” announced by Rev N. (». White, C.F. ; benediction, Rev F. Dunnage, C.F. ; National Anthem. The parade of territorials and returned soldiers will then fall in and march through the city to the Cathedral, where wreaths in memory of the fallen will be deposited. A retiring collection will be taken on behalf of the sick a. mi wounded soldiers.
