SLEPT IN A COFFIN.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z Cable Association BRISBANE. April 19. A man has been sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment for stealing a coffin. When arrested he was drunk, staggering along the street with a coffin on his shoulder. He declared that he purchased and slept in the coffin the previous night, and was then taking it to the river to use as a boat.
