MILLING INDUSTRY.

AUSTRALIAN MILLS CLOSING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 3, 12.35 p.m.). SYDNEY, March 3. The milling industry is in a parlous condition. Some mills have closed and others are working short time. The reason given is that wheat is unobtainable at a price which would enable millers to export to the East (Australia’s main export market), as the Wheat Board refused to allow millers to obtain wheat for the making of exportable flour below- 9s a bushel.
