A well-known resident cf Christchurch said after a Tecont visit that he had been amazed at the lack of Government support for Hanmer. Accommodation was hard to get and ho had. heard frequently <>f people who desired to go then* either on an ordinary visit or for health purposes riot being able to get rooms.
