I The final war accounts of the British Red Cross and Order of St. John of Jerusalem. show that receipts during the war amounted to £21,880,035, and expenditure to £*20,058,355. Tho public donated £16,510.023. The committee foreshadows the development of a scheme to benefit disabled ex-ser-vice men, in addition to £2,717.927 already expended on post-war relief on behalf of tno disabled.
