LADIES’ GOLF CLUB.
OPENING DAY. The Christchurch Toadies’ Golf Club opened its 1931 season yesterday at Shirley in good golfing weather and with the links in perfect condition. The year’s play started off by a Hag match which was won by Miss Betty Gotterill, the trophy for which was presented by Mrs Lawrence. The players and spectators were the guests of the captain, Mrs Eric Harper, at afternoon tea. Amongst these present were Mrs Godby, Airs J. Donald. Lady Boys. Miss B. Co'tterill. Mrs Boyle, Miss Boyle, Mi-s Lawrence, Airs Pync, Mrs Lithgoe, Mrs J>. H. Symes, Airs Robbie. Airs Banks. Airs and Miss Cliivden, Airs East, Airs Hcnderaon Begg, Airs Algar AYilliains, Airs B. B. AYood, Miss E. Hclmoro. Airs Day. Airs .J. K. Green, Airs Andreae, Miss Borinington. Miss D. Anderson. Miss U, Smith, Miss M. Macdonald. Miss J- Wilkin, and Airs Hill.
