At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night it was announced that the championship meeting would be held at Auckland on the arlanged date, March 5, and would not be> postponed aB rumoured. Applications for reinstatement were received from G. H. Weir (Jiawera), J. K. Hooker (Hawera), J. Rice (Auckland) aud C. Read (Auckland). Weir’s application was declined. Hooker’s was grant- ; ed.
