SELWYN PLANTATIONS BOARD.
The Selwyn Plantations Board carried out I the annual inspection on -Vlonday and Tuesday last. On Monday evening- the mor.uhiy nxoeting of the board was held at Hororar-i at which Mr 11. JJ. M. Hessard, Com mi saioner of Crown Lanas, presided. The superintendent submitted a- report, n, connection with the damage done to the plantation by the recent fire at, Banksiue. Jt was r.solvod to suitably recognise U lro o petsons who had assisted tho board in ing the firo spreading.
