Mr Nugent, director of the Federation of British Industries, in an interview. said that British exporters arc severely hit by the fact that they cannot get their exports to Australia financed. Unless something is done to rectify matters, it may mean ruin to certain manufacturers. The present difficulties do not encourage British manufacturers to spend time and money
trying to trade with Australia.
