Mr O. \V. Forbes. M.P.. who visited Christchurch to attend the wheat conference, returned to his home at Cheviot yesterday. Air Forbes will probably meet the Minister of Public Work-? a 1 Blenehim next week, and will join the Progress Leagia party a- conit.anying the Minister to Lake Coleridge. The Rev Frank Rule will leave Christchurch on Saturday on a tour of the Kaikoura, Nelson, Blenheim and Westland districts to stimulate interest jj* the orphanage work of the Presbyterian Social cverviee Association. During Air Rule’s absence his duties in Christchurch will be attcuxded to by Air H. Fawcett, who -has charge of tho rPresbyterian Orphanage, in Bligh's Road.
