“AVON” BUTTER. SWEET ... NUTTY ... PURE AH Prtnolpal Oraomra. The HARLEY on the BEACH Though only one or tiro, at the most, three Harley machines competed in each race at New Brighton last season, yet the Harlev-David-sou scooped the pool. And the majority of these races were won by private owners. This Season’s Results. This season’s results proclaim again that the Harley is the fastest and most superior of motor cycles. On top of these wins comes R. L. Kenuett’s ((private owner) performance. Riding an early 1917 7-9 Harlev engine he started off the mark with an opposition machine of the LATEST DESIGN and an OVERSIZE CAPACITY engine. Conceding art, exceptionally big start to an 8 valve of the same make, Kennett secured first place and fastest time. The remarkable part of the performance was the fact that Kennett rode a fixed engine—not even a clutch—and lost up to 75 vards on each of the SEVEN TURNS. JONES BROS. LTD. The Harley Corner
