Warburton (Wellington). who have been south, are back in Christchurch. Air and Mrs and thn Misses Shields (Nelson) are spending a holiday in Christchurch. Air and Airs L. N. Clouston (Blenheim) arrived in Christchurch on Saturday. and ere staying at Warner's. Mr and Airs Borgin. visitors to New Zealand from Norway, are staying at .Warner’a. ; Air and Airs J. P. Sumner (Belfast, Ireland >, who are touring New Zealand, are staying at the Clarendon. Air and Alps C. G. Dalgeiy have returned from Thmodio, and aro staying at Warner**. Mrs C. N. Broed is visiting her mother, Airs F. Robinson, Papanui Road Mrs James Afitclmll and Afiss T.eithc Mitchell, Cashmere HiJls, are spending a week-end in Ashburton. Alis* Ina Cox (Christchurch) left on a visit to friends in Ashburton on Saturday. Miss Agnes Lawler and Alias Afar garet, Harman are the guests of Airs Alexander, Auckland. The Misses A. and Af. Joyce, who have been in Christchurch for several days, will ’eavc this evening for the north. ATr and Airs C. Rhodes and the Misses Rhodes (Auckland) went on to I>.inodin to-day niter a short. stay in Christchurch. Air and Mrs J. J. ATGrath (Wellington) arrived in Christchurch yesterday, and are staying at the United Service. Mr and Airs G. R. Booth have returned from Dunedin, and are spending a few day* in Christchurch before going north. Airs Rounneir, Airs Afundcll. Airs Diepenherm and Aliss Barlow, all of London, are amongst, a large party of tourists who are holiday making in Now Zealand They are staying at the Clarendon. The guests at “ High bank,’’ Governor's Bay, during Christmas and Now Year holidays included Mr and Airs H. K. Coldbec-k. Air and Airs H. S. Fleming and son. Air and Mrs J. S. AVearn and son, Airs H. Hamilton and daughter, Air, A. Al. T red ale and daughter, Misses T. and M. Gibb. F. R. Klscvorth, A. Walker and Mr G. Stephens. At the Presbyterian Chun h. Hokitika, last week. the wedding took place of ATiss Evelyn AT. Blank, eldest daughter of Mr and Airs S. H. Blank, of Stafford Street, Hokitika, to Air S. A Ido, of Christchurch. The Rev P. R . Frasor officiated. The bride was attended by her sister (Miss 1.. Blank) and cousin (Miss 1. Higginson of Christchurch). Aliss AJuriel Blank was flower "irl, and Alas ter Sydney Blank page boy. The bridegroom was attended by Air Con Berendt as best man, and Mr James as groomsman.
