FREEHAND DRAWING COMPETITION THIS Competition was conducted by the D.I.C . under the ' auspices of the British Empire Rhyming Trades Alphabet Company, and was open to scholars of all public and private Primary Schools of Christchurch, City and Suburbs. Entries were received Jrom scholars of the following Schools:-^ Sydenham, Richmond, Linwood, Cashmere West Christchurch, East Christchurch St. Michael’s, Opawa, Woolston, St. Albans Drawings were judged in Wellington by an .Inspector of Schools; Following are the Prize Winners STANDARDS 3 and 4 First prize, Trophy 25/> H.UIA EMS, Woolston School Second prize, Trophy 15/- IVAN AthfielD.
