Brace (Labour), who was returned unopposed.) Tho West Rhondda by-election resulted as follows: John (Labour) t . 14,035 Rowlands (Coalition) . 9,959, (The sitting member was the Right Hon IV. Abraham (Labour), who was returned unopposed.)
