Ford, Glissold Street, Mcrivale, to mark the close of Iho present term. A varied musical programme was given by about twenty of tho pupils, after which an excellent supper was partaken of. A musical competition and a game concluding with “ Auld Lang .Syne ” brought a very successful evening to a close. Those contributing items were:—Misses Alnsgrovo (3), Brass (2). Alaiming (2). The annual Christinas tree party given by the members of the .Star of Lmwood and Golden Link Lodges was held in tho hall, RoHeston Street, Linwood on Saturday evening.
