LONDON December 20.The ‘‘Daily Chronicle” states that the Government proposes that the building trade unions should accept at least fifty thousand ex-service men, the Government agreeing to allow the unions a grant for every such man taken, with, a liberal guarantee against unemployment and a liberal allowance for time lost and bad weather.
