BRIDES FROM To TO 70.

LONDON, November 19.

The Registrar-General for Scotland furnishes remarkable facts "from the 1919 record of tho Scotch marrying year. '['here worn 41,137 marriages, which included two bride? aged fifteen, five bridegrooms aged sixteen, and 111 aged seventeen.

Twenty-one boys of nineteen and under married widows, and there werefive bridegrooms aged over eighty, and four brides aged seventy-one.

The births included one set of quadruplets, all alive at birth. The last such instance recorded was in 1907. The report stated that the frequency’ of irregular marriages in Scotland com tinned high.
