OLYMPIA.
OPENS TO-NIGHT. To-night will witness the opening of the big_ Olympia Motor Exhibition in the King Edward Barracks. The Mayor (Dr H. T. J. Thacker, M.P.) will perform the official ceremony at 8 p.m. The exhibition, however, will be open to the public at 0 p.m. It is claimed that nothing has ever been attempted in the Southern Hemisphere hcloro _ comparable with the huge show this year in Christchurch. Beside it, last year’s Olympia in this city was but a very small affair. In the fleet representing the world’s production of motors, will bo the very latest models of British, American, Canadian, French and Italian cars, trucks, tractors, cycles and accessories. Every step is being taken to cater for the convenience of patrons. There will be string music day and night, refreshment rooms, lounges, etc. Olympia will be open every day next week from 10 a.m.till 10 p.m.
