CREED—KNIGHT. Tho marriage was celebrated at ; Matthew’s Church on Tuesday -- of Albert George Creed, of Woiau. and Ivy Beatrice, only daughter of Mr and Mrs H. T. Knight, of St. Albans. 'Die ceremony was performed by the Ror E. C. W. Powell. Vicar of Sumner. Iho bride looked charming in a lovely simple frock of ivory crepe-de-chine. with mother-of-pearl liead- trimming, and with the usual veil ■ and orange blossoms. Sbo carried a lovely shower bouquet of choice white flowers. The, bride was siren awav by her father and was attended bv Mias Aline Dunn ns .bridesmaid. Mr Percy Creed, brother of the. bridegroom, acted as best ninn. After tho ceremony, the guests were entertained at. tho. The wedding was solemnised at St Ssriour’s, Lyttelton, on Wednesday, ot Mr Valter Trevor Agar, only , son of Mr and Airs 0. H-.’Agai, and Miss Nina Elizabeth Wearne, SQennd daughter oi Mr and Mrs SI. C. Wearne. both of Lyttelton. Tho bride, who was given * away by her father,, looked very-pretty in menalesse silk, hand embroidered, A fine net veil, also embroidered, fell from a wreath of orange-blossom, and the bride carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies qf the valley. She was attended _by Miss Vera Agar, chief bridesmaid (sister of the bridegroom!, and Miss Edna Wearno (sister of tho bride). Mr W. Bell carried out the duties of best man, and Air Gordon Wearno war, groomsman. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Excelsior Hall, where about eighty guests partook of the wedding breakfast. Airs Wearno received the guests in a fine check- costume and black and -rolcl hat. Air and Airs Agar left in the afternoon by motor for their honeymoon, tho hrido wearing a smart tailored navv serge costume and gold and navy hat.
