Th© following is tho full text of the I Able received from the Secretary of State for tho Colonies, and read in tho House by Mr Massey this week. On the subject of’ the observance of Amistioe-Day, it has been decided that , on" Thursday; November 11, being the second anniversary of the Armistice, the cenotaph in .Whitehall shall be unveiled by nis Majesty the King, and thafc' as a part of-the ceremony on that . day,i there shall bo buried in Weatm'ms-tet*-Abbey*an' Unknown British warrior, whose body-'shhll he taken from amongst those .buried, in France. Every precaution will bo taken to prevent bis identity being known. Tho coffin ’will bo brought to the Cenotaph, where it will be met by the King, attended by representatives of t the whole of the Empire. There will ba a short service at the cenotaph, consisting of the singing of tho hymn, 0 God our help in ages past,and the (Lord's Player.. This service will be «o'timed, that the unveiling of tho cenotaph takes place at 11 a.m. exactly, after which'there will bo two minutes’ silence, .followed by the " Last Post.” Wreaths will then bo laid by his Majesty, thoiPrime Minister and representatives of the-Empire. The funeral procession! ..will ■ then proceed to tho Abbey, where the,funeral sendee will take place, the body being buried in a grave in, the "nave of the Abbey. ; It,is proposed that,' just ns last jear, there should be during the two minutes’ , a complete suspension of all ' hemal business, work and locomotion throughout; the United Kingdom, so i that the thoughts of all may be concontratecT'on the reverent remembrance ’ ■ of the glorious dead. . • .
