The Kittawa; Kaitangata and Kokiri were held up at Greymouth yesterday and the Canopus at Westport, owing to the bar being unworkable, * 8 ISLAND TRADE., The Mokoia Is set down to aall from Auckland at noon on Monday for Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. OVERSEA SHIPPING. Tho Hororata is to leave New York within tho next few days with cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney and Newcastle. The Gambade, is set down to sail from New York about the same timo for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The S.S. and A. liner Karamea ia to sail from Nelson to-day for Pioton and Wellington to complete Homeward loading. Tho vessel is duo here about Thursday, and is to “ail a week later for London, via Panama. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Otarama arrived »> Southampton on October 27 {tom' Wellington. Tho Fultala is due at Lyttelton to-morrow from New York. The vessel is later to visit Dunedin, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Tho New Zealand and African Company advises that the Sussex is to leave Liverpool on November 6 with genera} cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Tho Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Stephens, en routo from New York, left Auckland at 5 p.m. on Wednesday for Wellington. Tho vessel is duo hare tomorrow morning. According to a radio message received from 1 tho O. and D. steamer Port Augusta, en route from New York the vessel expects to arrive at Auckland on Monday next. Tho Port Augusta is due at Wellington a week later, and subsequently is to visit Lyttelton, Dunedin and Melbourne. The Somerset is to leavd New York at tho end of this week with cargo for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. The Wangaratta ia timed to leave Now York about the same timo for Auckland, WelNewcastle and Brisbane. Captain E. 6. M. Dickinson is in command of the B. and I. steamer Canars, which is duo here this morning from Calcutta, via Wellington, with 1800 tons of cargo to land. She has also 1300 tons for Dunedin. From the southern port the vessel will proceed to Melbourne to load 600 horses far India, Tho Port Stephens is duo hero on Friday from Wellington with 1000 tons for discharge, and the Port Augusta will follow her a week later. The iPort Victor is expected at Lyttelton ■on Thursday with '2OOO tons of Liverpool cargo for discharge. Tho Shropshire will sail on Tuesday for Gisborne, where *b* will continue loading mutton.
